We think that studios are great for certain styles of shot and we’ve all seen exciting, vibrant “high-key” portraits in high-street studios. They’re fun and funky and we love them! But we think they can sometimes be a little contrived and forced.
We prefer to put our clients in natural outdoor environments with a little direction in standing, arm positions and head positions and then help to ease them into being truly comfortable in front of the camera.
We then use the various backdrops, lighting conditions and group dynamics to create timeless images of how you really are.
Our style is about the environment and our skills in posing a composition but also we have a technical element to our style that is consistent creating albums and wall art that sit together as a coherent set of images rather than just being a great set of captured moments: shoot into the light and wide open
