Why Do a Pre-Wedding Shoot

home » wedding photography » wedding photography advice » why do a pre-wedding shoot

The pre-Wedding shoot is one of the most important things we do with any couple. For most couples it will be the only time, apart from the Wedding itself, where a professional photographer is working with them. It´s primary purpose is, of course, to give you great pictures but we also use it to see how comfortable you are with the camera, how you stand, how you relate to each other in pictures and how you relate to us. All of this is invaluable in planning how we will photograph you on your wedding day.

We typically do a pre-Wedding shoot at somewhere other than your venue - we like to do it somewhere else so you don't just end up with Wedding photos in your civvies!. You choose a place that means most to you - where you met, where he proposed or just somewhere you like. We meet you for a discussion about the Wedding day and the shoot and then spend around 45min to an hour taking pictures.
